Survival Guide To The NPEE 2014 : What To Bring

If you are in the Natural Products industry it’s no surprise to you that the Natural Products East Expo (NPEE) is right around the corner and you’re undophoto (17)ubtedly already starting to prepare. As soon as the doors open on Wednesday, September 17, you’re sure to get caught up in the events, speakers, buyers, and education on natural products and the companies there presenting them. Year after year the NPEE proves to be a great event to explore innovative business models and new natural products. So let’s make 2014 the best yet!

Most of you are probably hastily preparing your itinerary, what booths to visit and what speakers to attend, but let’s not forget a few other personal essentials you’ll need to survive the trade show and make it your most successful yet, while having fun and looking your best. Comfortable shoes are essential for the NPEE. Let me repeat that, comfortable shoes are essential for the NPEE. Ditch the 120mm Louboutins for the week and bring some cute flats that you’ll be able to walk around in for long hours at the show, without needing a Podiatry appointment when you return home. If you wear heels, you will surely be miserable half way through day two. Instead, pack your favorite slingback pumps in a tote so you can switch into them for afterhours get-togethers.

Okay, so now that you’re devastated by the thought of leaving your precious new Prada pumps at home, I’m here to tell you that all hope for looking chic at the NPEE is not lost. A great way to make up for tphoto (18)hose thin soles is with some statement jewelry and accessories to compliment your outfits and show-off your personal style. But don’t let your necklaces and precious bling turn into a tangled mess in transit (you all know what I’m talking about). Be sure to pack all your favorite pieces neatly and safely in your Pura Botanica Jewelry Travel Case and Essentials Pouch. This allows you to bring loads of different accessories all neatly displayed and secured to the vegan case, which will have you looking your best to the exhibitors and save you the stress and aggravation of clawing through a pile of tangled necklaces and earrings in the morning when you’re trying to get out the door.

Checking in luggage? Don’t forget to attach a Pura Botanica Luggage Tag to easily decipher your suitcase from the rest at baggage claim. The last thing you need at such an important trade show is a luggage mishap. Plus, you’re sure to catch the eye of another NPEE Buyer with the vegan faux ostrich leather.

One last thing to remember is Advil, Tylenol or whichever you prefer, it can be the difference of 9 hour torture session or a great day meeting new people. The NPEE is too crucial to let a headache or some muscle aches wear you down. Also, remember to try to prevent these aliments by staying hydrated with lots and lots of water.
Hopefully you won’t need it, but having an over-the-counter pain reliever in your bag could definitely be a lifesaver. Oh, and while you’re at it, throw in gum or mints, floss, fashion tape, oil blot sheets, and some hand sanitizer…you never know at a Show.
